Sinnet has officially completed the first phase of its Tianjin Baodi Cloud Computing Center, marking a significant milestone in the company’s strategic expansion in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The successful construction and joint acceptance by relevant departments highlight Sinnet's commitment to enhancing digital infrastructure across the region.

The Tianjin Baodi Cloud Computing Center is poised to strengthen the region’s digital economy, particularly in areas like technological innovation, industrial systems, and integrated applications. Over the past few years, Tianjin has emerged as a secondary core area for the development of the digital economy, gaining advantages that drive its economic growth.

Sinnet's decision to build the center in Tianjin’s Baodi District reflects the company’s strategy to utilize its data center cluster resources in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The location, within the Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science Park, is strategically positioned, offering convenient transportation and access to rich backbone network resources.

The first phase of the project, which covers 33,000 square meters, began construction in December 2021 and faced numerous challenges, including those posed by the ongoing pandemic. Despite these obstacles, Sinnet completed the main construction by July 2022, with all civil work now finalized. The center is designed to house around 5,000 racks, built to international T3+ standards, and will feature two data center buildings, a power center, and an operation and maintenance building.

In keeping with Sinnet’s commitment to sustainability, the Baodi Cloud Computing Center adheres to green, low-carbon construction principles. The project also integrates cutting-edge green construction technologies to ensure both progress and quality. The first phase of the project earned the prestigious "Haihe Cup" Quality Structure Evaluation Award in 2022, recognizing its exceptional design and engineering.

Looking ahead, Sinnet plans to leverage its multi-cloud ecosystem and extensive data center resources in Beijing and Hebei to support the growing demand for digital infrastructure in the region. The Tianjin Baodi Cloud Computing Center will be key in meeting the digital and high-performance computing needs of enterprises, providing customized, scalable services and fostering greater interconnectivity with other data centers in the region.

This development represents a pivotal step in Sinnet’s ongoing efforts to lead in the digital infrastructure space, ensuring a robust and sustainable network for future growth and innovation.
