From IDC to AIDC: Sinnet Technology and Sinnet Cloud Join Forces to Build an AI Computing Ecosystem

Source:SINNET Release Date:September 28,2026

On 20 September 2026, the 2026 Sinnet Cloud Ecosystem Partner Conference was successfully held in Hangzhou. The event was jointly organised by Sinnet Cloud Data Technology (“Sinnet Cloud”), a subsidiary of Sinnet Technology, together with Sinnet Technology and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

As Sinnet Technology’s subsidiary focused on intelligent computing, cloud and network services, Sinnet Cloud serves as an AI-driven engine for digital intelligence and ecosystem development. It plays a key role in building the Group’s computing ecosystem and serving enterprise customers. Leveraging Sinnet Technology’s nationwide network of data centres and computing infrastructure, Sinnet Cloud connects partners across the industry value chain, integrating computing resources, cloud service capabilities and industry-specific applications.

Against the backdrop of AI technologies accelerating their adoption across industries, the conference was themed “Igniting Intelligent Computing, Enabling Cloud Ecosystem Synergy”. It focused on the pivotal shift from AI as a technological trend to practical industrial deployment. The event aimed to bring together leading industry players and establish an open, collaborative platform for exchange and cooperation, addressing real-world challenges in commercialising AI. It also represented a practical step in Sinnet Technology’s ongoing efforts to expand its computing infrastructure and strengthen its industry ecosystem.

At the opening of the conference, Wu Man, Executive Director and CEO of Sinnet Cloud, delivered the welcome address, extending a warm welcome and sincere appreciation to industry leaders, ecosystem partners and customers in attendance.

Wu noted that the AI industry was moving beyond conceptual innovation into a new phase characterised by large-scale deployment and commercialisation. Sinnet Cloud will leverage the Group’s strong computing infrastructure, continue to collaborate closely with industry partners, deepen its focus on real-world application scenarios, and explore new pathways for AI commercialisation—unlocking fresh opportunities for the development of the digital intelligence industry.

Yang Yuhang, Chairman of Sinnet Technology and Sinnet Cloud, attended the conference and delivered an address. He observed that the AI industry’s focus was shifting from technological breakthroughs to the ability to translate innovation into practical results. While model capabilities determine the technological ceiling, implementation capabilities determine the actual value delivered to industry.

Sinnet Technology remains committed to long-term development and continued investment in computing centre infrastructure, providing a solid foundation for the AI industry. To foster a collaborative ecosystem, the company will promote open connectivity and encourage ecosystem partners to work together as customers, sales channels and delivery partners.

The company also takes a results-driven approach, with the effectiveness of collaboration ultimately demonstrated through customers’ real-world business outcomes. By grounding innovation in practical business scenarios, Sinnet Technology aims to move AI agents and applications beyond demonstrations and pilot projects into production environments and business workflows. This approach ensures that AI delivers tangible, measurable industrial value rather than remaining a theoretical concept.

Sinnet Technology looks forward to working with ecosystem partners over the long term to strengthen intelligent computing infrastructure, expand application scenarios and create sustainable value together, advancing the pragmatic development of the AI industry.

Hu Jianwen, Vice President of Sinnet Technology, delivered a keynote presentation titled “Strengthening Digital Infrastructure, Embarking on a New Era of Intelligent Computing”, offering an in-depth analysis of the transformation of digital infrastructure in the AI era.

Hu explained that AI was reshaping value creation across the entire industry value chain. Data centres are undergoing a fundamental transition from traditional storage-oriented “digital warehouses” to computing-intensive “computing factories”. The industry is accelerating its shift from conventional Internet Data Centre (IDC) services to AI Data Centre (AIDC) services, which are becoming a critical foundation for large-scale AI deployment.

Building on its nationwide infrastructure footprint, Sinnet Technology continues to strengthen the foundations for large-scale computing capacity and advance its transformation from a traditional IDC service provider to an AIDC service provider. The company currently has more than 92,000 operational racks, with total planned capacity exceeding 230,000 racks. Its infrastructure supports rapid deployment and flexible capacity expansion, accommodates high-power AI rack configurations, and addresses the demanding requirements of large-scale AI cluster training.

Sinnet Technology is also deploying liquid-cooling technologies at scale. Supported by its proprietary computing resource scheduling and intelligent operations and maintenance systems, the company is progressing from liquid-cooling pilot projects towards heterogeneous GPU clusters comprising thousands and tens of thousands of GPUs. This enables deeper integration of general-purpose computing and heterogeneous computing capabilities.

In parallel, Sinnet Technology is developing an integrated hybrid cloud solution that combines local IDC infrastructure with public cloud services. Working with industry partners, the company is building a collaborative computing ecosystem and delivering customised, end-to-end services covering the entire lifecycle—from computing infrastructure and resource provisioning to operations and maintenance. These services are designed for model training, deep learning, and integrated training and inference workloads.

Hu emphasised that the true value of AIDC ultimately lies in enabling customers to deploy and run their actual AI training and inference workloads successfully. Guided by customers’ practical requirements, Sinnet Technology will accelerate the development of its end-to-end intelligent computing operations capabilities and build a stable, efficient and continuously evolving AI computing foundation. These efforts will support the large-scale deployment of foundation models and digital intelligence transformation across industries.

The conference featured in-depth discussions on industry policies, computing infrastructure development, ecosystem collaboration, application deployment and business innovation. Participants explored ways to translate computing capacity into business value and strengthen industry-wide collaboration, building a shared understanding that the large-scale development of AI depends on coordinated efforts among infrastructure providers, ecosystem partners and industry customers.

Looking ahead, Sinnet Technology will continue to strengthen its nationwide computing infrastructure footprint, accelerate the development of intelligent computing centres and uphold its commitment to green, low-carbon development. Through Sinnet Cloud’s ecosystem platform, the company will deepen collaboration with AWS and industry partners, continuously enhance its full-stack AI infrastructure service capabilities, and work with the wider industry to unlock new opportunities in the intelligent economy.
